Atlas, la modesta institución cuya vida transcurrió siempre (hasta el 2007, al menos) en la división más chica del fútbol de AFA, ha logrado lo que no pudieron algunos clubes grandes y de Primera División: ¡tener su propio libro!. Para que este hecho se diera debió conjugarse un ex-jugador de la institución con un reconocido y premiado autor de cuentos y poesías; pero todo ello se dió en una sola persona: el autor del libro. Si bien no trae síntesis de partidos, cuenta sin embargo con una gran cantidad de datos estadísticos como por ejemplo las participaciones en los torneos de AFA, listado de sus presidentes, plantel y cuerpo técnico 2005/06 y ¡el diccionario de todos los jugadores que pasaron por la institución desde 1951!. El resto de sus páginas traen muchas anécdotas, poemas, notas cabalísticas, notas sobre su fundador y presidente eterno, etc.; e intenta hacer cierto el subtítulo del libro: Realidad de una utopía. Gran cantidad de fotos, muchas de ellas en color.

Atlas, the modest institution which life went by the lowest division of the AFA (until 2007, at least), achieved which some big and first division clubs do not have “an own book”! This fact could be carried out with a former football player of this club conjugated with a renowned and winning story teller; but all this could be real in only one person: the author of the book. Although there are no summaries of the matches, it has an enormous amount of statistical data, such as participation in AFA tournaments, list of presidents, staff and the 2005/2006 team and the dictionary of all football players who played for this institution from 1951! The rest of the pages contain several anecdotes, poems, “cabalas” (guess) notes on its founder and eternal president, etc. This book tries to make true its subtitle: Reality of a utopia.
