Con este segundo tomo de la historia del Club Atlético Independiente el autor vuelve a sorprender. La calidad de sus investigaciones, la profusa bibliografía consultada, la búsqueda exhaustiva de datos de jugadores, clubes, etc., transforman a este libro, como el anterior (ver L-05) en la verdad irrefutable, pero no sólo del club de Avellaneda, sino del fútbol amateur en general. Este nuevo volumen (que en páginas supera al anterior en un 50%) es prácticamente el “día a día” de Independiente: los partidos con detalles completos, nombres de jugadores (del equipo y de los rivales ¡!), comentarios de cada encuentro. Además la vida social de la institución y los hechos destacados en el país. En cada temporada, además de las tablas de posiciones de la categoría donde actuó el club, están figuran los detalles de participantes en cada divisional y los distintos campeones, clasificados, ascendidos y descendidos, como para ir formando la historia total del fútbol argentino.

The author again surprises the reader with this second volume of Club Atlético Independiente’s history. The quality of his investigations, the extensive bibliography, the thorough search for players’ data, clubs, etc. transform this book as the previous one (Please refer to L-05) in the irrefutable truth, not only of the Avellaneda club, but also the amateur football in general. This new volume (which supersedes the former one in 50% in pages) is practically a “day by day” of Independiente: matches with complete details, names of players (of the team and of the opponent teams), comments of each match, besides the social life of this institution and the outstanding facts in the country. In each season, apart from position tables where the club was included, there were details of participants of each division and different champions, classified, promoted and descended, so as to be shaping the complete history of Argentine football.
